POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resources (HR) Intern is responsible for providing a broad range of HR related project work and administrative assistance for the daily operations of the Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES (not intended to be an all inclusive list)
- Conducts research on Human Resource related topics for HR program development, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and creation or revision of policies and procedures.
- Composes communication materials to employees in order to effectively communicate policies, procedures, or informational updates and changes as assigned.
- Works on social media campaign on employer company pages and newsfeeds. Audit and update company intranet page with new and revised content.
- Assists with day to day operations including but not limited to new hire orientation, answering staff member questions, fielding phone inquiries and assisting with HR projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- The internship is open to current Undergraduate or Graduate students.
- Human Resources, Business, Marketing or Education experience a plus.
Timeline: This internship will last from 8-12 weeks, depending on the availability of intern. There is a possibility that the internship could continue into the fall on a part-time basis, depending on availability of the intern.
Salary : $15 - $20
