What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant/Bus Driver position at Oasis at Crescent?
Activities Assistant: The Activities Assistant-Leader will assist in creating/providing appropriate social activities for the home’s Assisted Living and Memory Care residents while maintaining the respect and dignity of each person. The Activities Assistant-Leader Assists in creating a monthly activity calendar, implements scheduled recreation activities, assists in coordinating appropriate entertainment, taking direction from the Activity Director. This person also would drive the bus a few hours per week or as needed and attends/supervises residents on community outings, and attends/assists in resident special events/holiday celebrations. He/she will also update the orientation boards in both living areas on a daily basis.
Also, cleans, disinfects and straightens up each area after an activity is complete and understands resident’s needs for patience, tactile stimulation, sensory stimulation, redirection and remains calm in all types of situation.
Memory Care experience Preferred
