What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide, Assisted Living position at Oasis at Crescent?
Robynwood Assisted Living is seeking a Personal Care Aide to join our team! As a Personal Care Aide, you will: assists with care of teeth and mouth, grooming, bathing, toileting, transfers, eating and dressing. You'll also prepare and service meals according to directions.
Full time and part time roles available. Shift hour options: 7am - 3pm OR 3pm - 11pm.
Additional Role Details:
- Provides assistance with personal care, maintenance of the environment, nutritional support (HC) and related work as required.
- Assists with personal hygiene, dressing, eating and household tasks essential to the residents health.
- Such services as pertain to home care (HC) shall be prescribed by a physician in accordance with a plan of in home care supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of agency training course
- First-Aide Certification
- Minimum age of eighteen years
- Good physical health (health cert. and Mantoux PPD req)
- Good grooming
- Maturity, consideration, and kindness
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to adapt to different situations, personalities and shift changes
- Constructive attitude towards established policies and procedures
- Willingness to accept assigned cases
- Basic reading and writing skills and ability to understand and carry out
- instructions
- Genuine interest and sympathetic towards people in distress
- Dependable transportation required for job
