What You’ll Do: Inspire & Engage: Lead students in unlocking their full creative potential while fostering an environment of intellectual, emotional, and social growth. Plan & Create: Develop exciting, personalized art lessons that cater to the needs, interests, and abilities of each student. Whether you're teaching the basics of sketching or the magic of mixed media, your classroom will be buzzing with creativity. Bring Ideas to Life: Collaborate with colleagues to design a curriculum that encourages self-expression and artistic exploration. Set Goals & Achieve: Guide students through projects and assignments with clear objectives to help them master new techniques and develop their artistic voice. Assess & Support: Regularly assess students' artistic progress and provide feedback to ensure they’re growing in their skills and passion for art. Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a positive, engaged learning environment both inside and outside the classroom. Create a Safe & Fun Space: Build a classroom that inspires creativity, fun, and growth, all while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for your students. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: You’ve got a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid Florida teaching certificate for Art. If you're bilingual, that’s a bonus! Communication: Strong communication skills—both oral and written—are a must to connect with students, parents, and your team. Tech-Savvy: You’re familiar with industry-standard computer applications and can integrate tech tools into your lessons. Creative, Organized, and Energized: You’re able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced school environment. Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and can build strong relationships with students, parents, and community members.
