Full-Time, 2025/2026 School Year Reports to: Principal / Designated Supervisor What You’ll Do: Empower Students: Guide students in their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth through engaging math lessons that are as fun as they are educational. Create and Deliver: Design lessons that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of each student. Whether it’s algebra, geometry, calculus, or beyond, you’ll keep things exciting and relevant. Collaborate and Communicate: Work with colleagues, administration, and parents to ensure everyone is on the same page in supporting student success. Lead by Example: Establish a positive classroom environment that’s focused on learning and growth. Foster an atmosphere where students can thrive, ask questions, and get excited about math! Assess and Adapt: Regularly assess student progress, offer helpful feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure everyone is on track. Problem-Solving Superhero: Use your skills to identify students' strengths and challenges and provide the best support. Stay Engaged: Attend meetings, collaborate with fellow educators, and continue your professional development to stay sharp and motivated! What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution •A valid Florida teaching certificate in Math •(Bonus!) Bi-lingual skills are encouraged! Skills and Abilities: •Strong communication skills – both oral and written. •Comfortable using tech to support and enhance lessons. •Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. •Passion for working with diverse groups and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. •Ability to stay cool under pressure and meet deadlines like a pro.
