Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/ABA Technician
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Sunday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Blaine, Minnesota
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Technician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based behavioral therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental challenges as part of our Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) services. This part-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children achieve developmental milestones and fostering positive behavioral change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP).
- Provide 1:1 behavioral therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in home, center-based, or community settings.
- Accurately collect and document data on the child’s progress toward treatment goals.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers, offering guidance and feedback to support the generalization of skills.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure high-quality care.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
- Active RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification (paid training may be provided).
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or ASD is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to commit to a consistent schedule, including evenings and weekends.
