Responsibilities:
- Provide great care to our residents using the Positive Approach to Care methodology.
- Answer resident call lights and determine how best to help them.
- Provide support and guidance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and laundry.
- Provide care and perform job responsibilities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead/Participate in engagement/activities with residents in our community.
- Actively assist with meal services.
- Work collaboratively with the entire care team by documenting your caregiving tasks in real time within the Care Connect app.
- Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality.
- Attend specialized training in-services.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to become part of the Oasis Team:
- Possess a diploma/appropriate certification from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of medication and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Ability to inspire, direct, and coach team of direct care staff.
- Ability to work scheduled shift hours.
- Passionate about and experienced with dementia, preferred.
- Must be a dedicated and compassionate caregiver.
- Ability to think and work independently as well as with direction.
- Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Skilled with technology, including daily use with minimal errors.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
