Our team is dementia-trained and certified by Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care (PAC), specializing in memory care and offering one-on-one support. We accept most insurance plans and have been recognized for our innovative approach, receiving the Innovation of the Year Award in 2016 from the Indiana Assisted Living Association.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide great care to our residents using the Positive Approach to Care methodology.
  • Answer resident call lights and determine how best to help them.
  • Provide support and guidance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and laundry.
  • Provide care and perform job responsibilities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Lead/Participate in engagement/activities with residents in our community.
  • Actively assist with meal services.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire care team by documenting your caregiving tasks in real time within the Care Connect app.
  • Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality.
  • Attend specialized training in-services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your vital part as a member of the Oasis team is:

  • Administer and document medication/treatments and accurately record all care provided.
  • Evaluate and report each resident's physical and emotional status to aide in developing care plans based on assessments.
  • Provide care and perform job responsibilities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate immediate life-saving measures in the absence of a physician.
  • Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with professional standards and federal/state regulation.
  • Provide great care to our residents using the Positive Approach to Care methodology.
  • Inspire, direct, and coach team of direct care staff.
  • Lead/Participate in engagement/activities with residents in our community.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire care team by documenting your caregiving tasks in real time within the Care Connect app.
  • Assist with meal services.
  • Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

What you need to become part of the Oasis Team:

  • Possess a diploma/appropriate certification from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Ability to inspire, direct, and coach team of direct care staff.
  • Ability to work scheduled shift hours.
  • Passionate about and experienced with dementia, preferred.
  • Must be a dedicated and compassionate caregiver.
  • Ability to think and work independently as well as with direction.
  • Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Skilled with technology, including daily use with minimal errors.

We're hiring for the following shifts:

  • Full-time (12 Hour Shifts with one half day a week and Every Other Weekend)
  • Full-time and Part-time 1st shift 8 hour shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
