Duties

- Provide direct patient care including IV insertion and medication administration.
- Assist with medical-surgical procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Engage in infant care when required, demonstrating specialized knowledge in this area.
- Lift and transfer patients safely, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and other systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly with geriatrics or medical-surgical nursing, is preferred.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and IV insertion procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and the ability to respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Experience working with infants is a plus, showcasing versatility in patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.
