Job Title: Laundry Operations Assistant Manager

Reports To: Owners/General Manager
Job Summary:
Oasis Laundry is seeking a dedicated and proactive Laundry Operations Assistant Manager to oversee daily laundry operations and ensure exceptional service delivery. In addition to managing staff and operations, the role includes assisting with pickup and delivery services, requiring a clean driving record. This hands-on leadership position is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and packaging.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and efficient workflow.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Schedule shifts and allocate resources to meet business demands.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Customer Service:
- Manage client interactions to ensure satisfaction with services.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support bundling and preparation of orders for pickup or delivery.
Pickup and Delivery Services:
- Assist with driving for pickup and delivery routes as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate pickup and delivery of customer orders.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold company reputation during customer interactions.
Safety and Maintenance:
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in management or operations is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the laundry or service industry.
- Driving Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving and navigating delivery routes.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and tools (e.g., scheduling software, spreadsheets).
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.59 - $19.49 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
