What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spray Technician position at Oasis lawn and construction?
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Spray Technician to join our landscaping team. As a Spray Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and appearance of our clients' lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces. Your primary responsibilities will include applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other treatments to promote vibrant, pest-free landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely mix and apply lawn and plant treatments, adhering to all company protocols and regulatory standards.
- Inspect landscapes to assess treatment needs, identify pests, weeds, or diseases, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Operate and maintain spray equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and in proper working condition.
- Record details of each application, including materials used and areas treated using the correct State specific guidelines and MDMS Sheets.
- Communicate with clients to explain treatment plans and provide advice on ongoing lawn care.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, safety regulations, and new products.
- Follow environmental protection guidelines to ensure responsible and sustainable application methods.
Qualifications:
- Valid pesticide applicator’s license (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of lawn care products, chemicals, and application techniques.
- Ability to operate spray rigs, pumps, and other application equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift/move equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior experience in landscaping or pest control is a plus.
