We are searching for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Medical Office Assistant to join our ever-growing team. This position exists to support our smooth and efficient operations for the agency in the office environment.
License/Certification:
- High school diploma
Experience:
- Medical Office experience: 1 years required
- Experience in a medical setting (clinic, hospital, facility etc.) highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative duties, such as generating and distributing memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes and sorting and distributing incoming mail
- Assist with Payroll preparation
- Managing employee paperwork including collecting, scanning and updating records
- Assist in setting provider schedules and family portal access
- Assist with collection of data for reports and surveys and contracts
- Utilize DocuSign to make templates/retrieve documents signed
- Assist in the process of obtaining orders
- Engage in effective communication with administrative/office staff, families and clinicians
- Daily communication and direction from Administrator
- Willingness to train, learn and apply our office processes
- Desire to understand, believe and communicate our mission and values
- Other duties as assigned by Administrator
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office in Word and Excel.
- Experience with DocuSign
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to function with minimal oversight along with being very self-motivated
- Experience in clerical, office or other administrative work in a health care setting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility as processes grow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform time management effectively with ability to meet deadlines
- Work as part of a team
- Ability to act with integrity and confidentiality
Job Type:
- Full Time Hourly/Non-Exempt
- 32-40 hours per week
- Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
- Schedule: Full- Time Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
