Chord Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our dynamic team. The IT Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in Windows Server, virtual, storage, and cloud technologies. The position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager and is located in downtown Houston, TX.Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions
- Manage and maintain the organization's Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Oversee the virtualization environment using VMware, ensuring efficient resource allocation, performance optimization, and timely issue resolution
- Design, implement, and support storage infrastructure
- Perform regular security audits and assist with quarterly SOX testing
- Monitor and troubleshoot server and storage performance issues, taking proactive measures to ensure maximum uptime and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support various IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff, assisting in complex problem resolution and fostering knowledge sharing
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Windows Server, VMware / virtual, and storage technologies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
