What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Oasis Rentals, Inc?
We are a fast-growing boutique luxury vacation rental company seeking a Full-Time Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a born leader, who is able to work in a small team environment. Someone who can see the big picture, while also handling detail-oriented tasks, and leading the teams day to day operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who loves customer service, and problem-solving.
The position will require:
- Working weekends, many holidays, on-call nights, and flexible availability. Your days (not guaranteed, but likely) off will be set days on/off except for special events or holiday dates.
- The ability to keep confidentiality, a professional appearance, and a helpful attitude. We are looking for a natural-born leader who can also work in a small team environment.
- Experience working in a boutique property management office environment with exposure to customer service, and problem-solving is ideal.
- Hours can vary depending on the demand of the vacation rental company, and a flexible schedule is necessary for this position.

- Candidates with high-end/boutique hospitality management or similar experience may be considered.
- Previous experience as a Vacation Rental Operations Manager is helpful but not required.
Job Duties to Include:
Home Owner Liaison -
- Homeowners - inquires, issues, property inspections prior to owner arrival
- Coordinate Homeowner required action items, inventories, etc.
- Maintain homeowner hotline & emails and reply to homeowners as needed
- Coordinate homeowner pre-arrival inspections and any action items required
- Homeowner Acquisitions Mailers, Emails, and follow-up (coordinate with General Manager & R&R Manager) - Bonus-based incentive on new homeowner sign-up, and yearly retention
- Meet prospective new homeowners, and assist in Homeowner acquisitions efforts as needed (Coordinate with General Manager & R&R Manager)
Properties -
- Quality Control - Housekeeping & Property Inspections & Quality checks (Coordinate with Guest Services & Facilities Manager)
- Property Inventories & Audits (Coordinate with Guest Services & Facilities Manager)
- Property Signage - Audits (assure proper signage, manuals, one-sheets, and instructions are up to date, and in the house)
- Coordinate with Guest Services & Maintenance Manager on required repairs, issues, and property upkeep.
- Provide Arrivals/Departures assistance back up as needed
Employees -
- Guest Services Manager(s) Direct Supervisor - Facilitate, Coordinate & Manage/Monitor Guest Services manager’s daily workflow, assisting as needed.
- Facilities Manager(s) Direct Supervisor - Facilitate, Coordinate & Manage/Monitor Guest Services manager’s daily workflow, assisting as needed.
- Audit & Monitor Keeps/Task Lists & Work Orders and follows up on timelines, and status.
- Coordinate Training & Development of Guest Services/Facilities team members
- Set up standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Guest Services & Facilities Managers.
General/Office -
- Assist in day-to-day operations and communications of the main oasis email box, respond to guest issues and inquiries, and cover main oasis calls as needed. Misc other duties as required based on workflow needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
