What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapy Aide position at Oasis Therapy?
We are looking for a full-time Therapy Aide, Monday -Friday (9AM -5:00 /5:30 PM)
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
- Assist therapists in preparing patients for therapy sessions and ensuring their comfort.
- Help patients perform exercises and use therapy equipment under the guidance of licensed therapists.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area, including disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
- Transport patients to and from therapy sessions as needed.
- Ensure therapy equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic knowledge of therapy equipment and exercises is a plus.
- Physical ability to assist patients and move equipment as needed.
