OASYS, INC., a 100% Employee-Owned, Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking applicants for an Engineer/Scientist to support a Navy customer in Charleston, SC.
Job Responsibilities include: Providing Software Engineering expertise in support of Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Provide technical guidance in support of C4ISR systems integration of applications and services on authorized Marine Corps or DoD networks to include: Equipment Support, System Support, and Programmatic Support. Provide leadership to a team that manages Combat Data Network (CDN), Combat Operations Center (COC), or equivalent Marine Corps Virtual Infrastructures (VI) and network transport solutions on DoD networks, serving command and control applications and services to authorized end users. Perform tasks in a variety of areas to include:
- Tracking important milestones or actions for management/team
- Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications
- Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures
- Interact with clients, government officials, and other executives in the private sector
- Verbal and written communications must be timely and demonstrate the consistent ability to present ideas and communicate information in a clear and concise manner
- Drafting, writing, and editing reports, briefs, correspondence and other documents
- Laisse with key internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Must have or be working towards the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.)
- Ten (10) years of experience in Marine Corps Command, Control, Communications, & Computer Intelligence Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (C4ISR) software and systems integration on authorized tactical or enterprise networks
- Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Combat Data
- Network (CDN), Combat Operations Center (COC), or equivalent Marine Corps software and systems integration for tactical use
- Strong written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
- A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
Required Education: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
