Software Tester
OASYS, INC., a Leading Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Software Tester to support our ARMY customer.
Primary Job Duties:
Analyze Requirements/Data - 40%
Create/Design test case library - 50%
Attend Meetings/briefings/conferences-10%
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years' of Software Test experience
- 5 total years of experience and the 5 years can be any type of paid experience
- Associates degree and 7 total years of exp may be substituted.
- Experience in automation testing
- Detail-oriented
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to collaborate with development team and government clients, and work within the AGILE framework
- Able to understand acceptance criteria and write appropriate test cases
- Execute tests against a program or system to identify defects, ensure software quality, provide information for decision making, and avoid defects in the future
- Able to complete daily testing in support of enterprise sustainment activities
- Able to multitask and prioritize efforts
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence would be a bonus
Required Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline (STEM, computer science, or computer engineering, etc.).
Eligibility: Only US citizens are eligible for this position. Candidates must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
