System Administrator
OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking applicants for a System Administrator position to join a diverse, multi-disciplined team in the Huntsville, AL area. Position Description:
The ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Applicant must have experience with the application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating systems and other networked devices
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have an active CompTIA Security certification and applicable operating systems certificationsPrior experience with Microsoft Server products
- Prior experience with Microsoft Windows products
- Prior experience with VMware/vSphere.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Prior experience with Cisco network devices
- Prior experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Prior experience with Dell Network Attached Storage (NAS) Devices
- Prior experience with PowerShell
Required Education: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Additional six (6) years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
Eligibility: Must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance; Active Secret Security Clearance preferred; US Citizenship required
