Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse personel to oversee daily operations in our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, including materials handling, inventory control, and shipping and receiving processes. This role requires the ability to lead a team effectively while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
- Implement and maintain inventory control measures to optimize stock levels.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for materials handling and equipment operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely, ensuring proper techniques are used by all team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations within the distribution center.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a distribution center.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
