Performance Measurement & Business Analysis (PMBA) is responsible for aligning enterprise-wide metrics, analysis, reporting and performance measurement tools to drive AARP's strategic and operating performance. PMBA includes a Business Optimization team that provides consulting and advisory services to projects and initiatives where there is an enterprise-wide impact, unknown root cause and / or complex stakeholder interactions.
The Consulting Manager serves as an internal consultant by objectively diagnosing obstacles, identifying areas of opportunity, and recommending solutions to complex business, operational, and organization problems. Drives and manages activities through the full lifecycle of a consulting engagement from proposal to implementation. Leverages critical thinking and functional expertise in areas such as operations, process improvement, strategy, and organizational design in order to assess and improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Leads consulting engagements to address operational opportunities and improve organizational performance.
- Applies structured problem-solving frameworks to deconstruct complex organizational performance issues.
- Succinctly and effectively translates analysis into management presentations or client-ready deliverables.
- Conducts external research on industry leading practices.
- Scopes, proposes, and initiates plans to address organizational opportunities.
- Gathers and analyzes client performance data.

Hybrid Work Environment
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.
