Job description

OAV is looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented audio visual engineer to join our team. The responsibilities of the audio visual engineer include transporting equipment, setting up cameras, lighting, and video equipment, and maintaining and coordinating rental inventory.

To be successful as an audio visual engineer, you should have experience transporting, assembling, operating, and repairing equipment used for multimedia production. A great audio visual engineer is creative, flexible, and detail-oriented, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Senior Live Event Specialist Responsibilities :

Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks.

Truck Driving multiple sized vans and trucks for transporting media equipment and audiovisual support tools (Requires MDOT and Chauffeurs License, OAV will provide this opportunity to complete this upon job offer)

Setting up and performing programming and event set up according to layout diagrams and schedules.

Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving and to help out production or event coordinators.

Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise.

Meeting clients' standards by handling equipment malfunctions and executing a flawless event.

Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner.

Performing inventory management on rental inventory and accessories.

Audio Visual project management and show design

Senior Live Event Specialist Requirements :

An associate's audio visual technology or a related field or equivalent experience of 7 years.

In-depth working knowledge of audio, video and lighting equipment

Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills.

Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility.

Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Ability to transport and set up heavy equipment.

CDL (required)

  • Pay is based on experience
  • Bonus (show pay) is available
  • Ability to travel throughout the nation, as needed

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
