What are the responsibilities and job description for the INFERTILITY NURSE position at OB-GYN Associates, PC?
OB / GYN Associates, P.C. in currently recruiting for an infertility nurse to work full time (32-40 hours) Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 8-5, as well as some weekend call.
Duties :
- This position will provide nursing support to the physician who specializes in infertility.
- The infertility nurse will have a wide range of responsibility, including but not limited to, assessing patient vitals, acquiring patient history with accurate documentation, record concerns or symptoms and provide assistance with the patient’s questions and concerns as well as help provide patient education.
- The infertility nurse will work closely with the physician in initiating and implementing a patient’s treatment cycle, while independently tracking the treatment plan and performing procedures, such as IUI. The role focuses on the patient’s emotional and mental health aspect of infertility as well as physical / procedure / treatments.
- The infertility nurse will assist in other areas of the office as her license allows.
