The Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, located in the heart of Baytown, Texas, is seeking a dedicated and skilled OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team.

Baytown, situated within the Houston metropolitan area, boasts a rich history and vibrant culture. Our hospital, with its 257 beds, provides comprehensive acute care and surgical services, including a level II special care nursery and educational classes for new parents.
About the Role
As an OB/GYN Hospitalist at our institution, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure seamless care for every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for all pregnant women who present emergent, regardless of circumstance
- Cultivate relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel
- Support private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance
- Care for unassigned patients
- Evaluate and treat triage patients
- Provide consultation to the ED
- Monitor labor
- Deliver babies
- Perform surgery and surgical assists
- Evaluate and treat postpartum patients
- Provide nurse support and education
