About the Role:
As a Quality Control Supervisor with Oberfields you are responsible for:
- Oversight of the Quality Control Team and Leading Quality Control Efforts at all the Oberfields’ locations
- Testing Fresh Concrete Blocks, Aggregates, Cements (including their height, density, and moisture content), and doing Sieve Analysis
- Conducting Quality Audits of Finished Goods (in plant, yard, and reseller locations)
- Logging/Filing and Reporting Data (plus using the data to identify problems and trends for non-conforming products so we can decide on the disposition with the management team)
- Creating Pigment and Batch Designs for the Plants
- Training Staff on Safety Procedures and How to Reach Target Qualities
- Adapting to the Needs of Business
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good Organizational and Communication Skills
- The Ability to Maintain Testing and Lab Equipment by Keeping it in the Proper Working Order
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Strong Analytical Problem-Solving and Root-Cause Analysis Skills
- Comfortably Meeting Compliance Metrics with their Team
- We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in Quality Control in an Industrial environment and 2 years of supervisory experience!
