Job Summary
The department of art is seeking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year student Gallery Attendants to supervise artwork in Baron and Fisher Hall Galleries in the week leading up to commencement and to facilitate a number of celebratory events in varied art spaces.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be in charge of ensuring that artwork is not damaged during public gallery hours and opening and closing of the space, maintaining contact with Security, and setting up for events upon request.
Employees will be in charge of setting up and breaking down different commencement related events taking place May 20-27th, 2027. Additional duties may include facilities-related tasks throughout the art complex as assigned by staff.
Qualifications
No prior experience is required. Employees must have an open schedule and be able to commit to working between the hours of 9-8:00 every day if needed. Students must be able to lift 40 lbs and be capable of walking long distances.
