Job Summary
The Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Physical Education invites applications for the position of Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month Administrative and Professional Staff position, reporting to the Head Women's Volleyball Coach and working with the Associate Vice President for Athletics Advancement and Delta Lodge Director of Athletics & Physical Education.
Responsibilities
This position will report directly to the Head Women's Volleyball Coach and be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program - coaching, recruiting, and administration. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Developing the student-athlete's athletic, academic, and personal success
- Coaching and coordinating practices during the traditional and non-traditional seasons
- Equipment maintenance throughout fall and spring semesters
- Match preparation, match management, and video analysis
- Recruiting and retention of student-athletes
- Social media outreach
- Travel planning
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree
- Preference will be given to candidates with successful coaching, playing, and recruiting experience at the college level
- Applicants should be open to working hours that include a combination of days, nights, weekends and travel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to interact positively with student-athletes, parents, colleagues, alumni, and the public
- Comply with all College, NCAC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
