Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry invites applications for Stockroom Assistants for the Fall of 2025. Majoring or planning to major in chemistry or biochemistry is preferred but not required.
Chemistry & Biochemistry Stockroom Assistants will get the opportunity to develop their understanding of the materials at hand, gain further knowledge of topics that they previously learned, develop a professional relationship with new students, and develop their skills as educators.
Responsibilities
1-4 hour/week commitment.
Responsibilities include
You must be an enrolled student at Oberlin College & Conservatory to qualify. In order to be considered, applicants must have earned a passing grade in CHEM 102.

- Assisting in the organization and operation of department stockroom;
- Assisting in the setup and support of the teaching labs;
- Handling chemicals and sample preparation;
- Cleaning and maintaining chemical glassware;
- Other related duties.
