The Psychology department seeks one research/office assistant for 10 hours per week for Summer 2025. This is a paid, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route phone calls, greet and direct visitors
- Electronically file reports and documents utilizing BOX.
- Assist faculty with research projects.
- Assist with graphic design requests for high level presentation materials for organizational communication
- Office duties as assigned.
- Special projects as assigned
- Ideal applicant will be a Psychology major or minor
- Computer Skills - Word and Excel experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member.
- Outstanding professional demeanor and excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Ability to use good judgement and to exercise discretion.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Must be highly organized, disciplined, dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and flexible.
- Working knowledge of basic office equipment and machines, including but not limited to copiers, printers, scanners, phones, and computers.
- Continuing students and May 2025 graduates are welcome to apply.
