Obermeyer Wealth Partners is seeking a talented individual to join our investment team. This role’s primary objective is to conduct in-depth research and rigorous fundamental analysis to support and strengthen investment theses, guided by the firm’s investment process and philosophy. The ideal candidate will bring a genuine passion for public equity investing, a keen intellectual curiosity about businesses, and the ability to collaborate effectively and adapt flexibly within a small, dynamic team.
Obermeyer Wealth Partners is a registered investment advisor (RIA) managing $2.6 billion in assets. We construct customized, separate-account portfolios for a diverse client base of individuals, families, and select family offices. Our public equity holdings are concentrated in large-cap companies, spanning several distinct and carefully curated strategies.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a generalist analyst conducting rigorous business due diligence, including reviewing and summarizing findings from company filings, research reports, transcripts, and news.
- Conduct primary research, including speaking with industry experts and analysts, attending conferences and tradeshows, and meeting with management teams.
- Stay informed about industry developments, economic shifts, and global markets.
- Communicate using effective, clear, and professional written and verbal language; present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee through well-constructed thesis presentations and memos.
- Create and maintain valuation models, monitor ongoing developments in equity holdings and watchlist investments.
- Collaborate with colleagues on large projects, including identifying opportunities to enhance the investment processes, create efficiencies, and deliver greater value.
- Leverage technology platforms for internal efficiency and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of public equity investing experience.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and external partners.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, proficiency at prioritization, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to engage in thoughtful debates regarding the merits of specific investments.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting topics; experience in interpreting market trends, economic indicators, and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications including FINRA licenses, CFA, or an advanced degree (MBA).
- Familiarity with financial data tools such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Bonus Retirement Contribution: $175K-$225K depending on experience.
