Obermeyer Wood is seeking a full-time Client Advisory Associate to join our team and support our valued clients. This individual will play a crucial role on our team by working closely with advisors to build and maintain strong client relationships, assist in financial planning, conduct research, prepare client reports, and offer notary services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial planning concepts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing exceptional client service.

We are excited to open a new office in Vail in early 2025.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and excellent client service.
- Assist in gathering client information, analyzing needs, and developing comprehensive financial plans.
- Support senior advisors by conducting research, preparing presentation materials, and running reports.
- Provide notary services to clients as needed, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records; process client requests and transactions promptly.
- Leverage advanced financial tools and technology platforms to streamline processes and better serve clients.
- Stay informed about industry developments, market conditions, and evolving financial products and services.
Qualifications
- One or more years of relevant experience (including internships) in wealth management, financial planning, or finance-related industries (other experience also considered).
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and who can work effectively on a team and independently.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence others, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, proficiency at prioritization, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in analyzing investment portfolios and financial planning strategies, interpreting market trends and economic indicators, and making data-driven decisions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, client relationship management, and financial custodial platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce, Schwab, Fidelity).

The position is in-person Monday through Friday in our new Vail office. Training will be based in Denver for 2-4 weeks.
