We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join the Obioma Health Care team to serve our community in providing exceptional nursing care. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care under the supervision of nurses and medical staff, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
**Responsibilities: **
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs
- Light Housekeeping
- Companion Care
- Assist with patient mobility and positioning
- Serve meals and help patients with feeding
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients
- Medication Reminders
**Requirements: **
- Proven experience as a Nursing Assistant in long-term care, acute care, home health, or clinic settings
- Knowledge of patient service principles and practices
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Familiarity with medication reminders, and/or administration procedures
- Experience in caring for elderly, Hoyer lift use, mobility assistance, and companionship
- Effective communication skills are essential within our team
