Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a 5G Validation Integration Engineer
Location - Plano, TX
- Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or wireless communications, with specific hands-on experience in 5G or LTE networks preferred. - Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), or specific 5G-related certifications from vendors
- Strong understanding of 5G network architecture, including core, radio access network (RAN), and mobile edge computing (MEC).
- Proficiency in deploying and managing private 5G or LTE networks, with knowledge of network slicing, spectrum allocation, and radio frequency (RF) optimization.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., NetFlow, Wireshark, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for telecommunications and wireless network issues.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS Automation Coding Python, pytest (Python testing framework). - GOOD to HAVE - Linux, Kubernetes
- Strong ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on complex, large-scale projects.
