Join us in shaping the future of aviation! Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to enhance our team. Our Ideal candidate will be proficient in leading development, implementation, and quality control of complex and numerous activities, and leading the Objective Area Solutions' project team in the execution of consulting activities for a financial Program Management Office (PMO).
This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. In addition to providing air traffic control and safety oversight for civilian aviation, the FAA also works in lockstep with the Department of Defense and other government agencies to ensure the security of our nation. A key component of that coordination involves the collaborative use of aviation tools and data.

Key Responsibilities
A successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience, with 5 or more years addressing the areas of project management. The candidate will support the client under the direction of the consulting engagement lead, the project manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development of detailed project plans for ongoing task order development, execution, and quality control.
- Support a diverse team of professional consultants to include subcontractors.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, ensuring currency and accuracy.
- Prepare and provide documentation to technical and non-technical personnel across lines of business.
- Provide support to client staff for ad-hoc project management questions and inquiries.
- As needed, provide support to review other ongoing client program management plans.
- Would be expected to continue to professionally grow to take on increasingly complex tasks and roles with the client and within the company.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
- Project Management Professional (PMI PMP) Certification or equivalent.
- 10 years professional experience.
- 5 years project management experience, preferably with government clients.
- Experience supporting the FAA or other US Government clients.
- Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Experience leading and managing teams of consultants supporting public sector clients.
- Aviation experience.
