Our role:
The Account Director is responsible for identifying and securing new customers for Regulatory Solutions products. They devise and implement strategic sales plans, identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet our Customers’ needs. Additionally, Account Directors analyse market trends, provide sales forecasts, and play a vital role in Regulatory Solutions’ business development and success. Working within defined target market segments and geographical locations, they understand our customer challenges and can articulate how Objective products help to solve these, whilst delivering great value.
This role reports to the Regional Director and does not have people management responsibilities.
\n- Identify, develop and win new business opportunities within allocated market segments and geographic locations.
- Generate new business through networking, attending industry events, and referrals from existing clients.
- Qualify and follow up on new leads, contacting potential customers to establish rapport and arrange productive meetings.
- Build strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders to act as a trusted advisor.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations with support from our Pre-Sales team.
- Planned and executed sales strategies that positively engaged the customer and worked within procurement practices through to commercial closure.
- Determine the winning strategy and work with our pre-sales team to prepare and submit tender responses and proposals for new prospects.
- Achieve annual sales targets by securing new customers and solutions.
- Work with our Marketing and Pre-Sales teams to help to organise, promote and attend product events and conferences, showcasing our product and communicating our value proposition to prospective customers.
- Strong Business Development skills, able to work the provided leads as well as identify and qualify new opportunities themselves.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strategic thinking, can readily perceive the customer’s perspective to help formulate a winning outcome
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities. Can effectively communicate with both business/functional and technical individuals.
- Ability to adjust approach and communication style based on personalities and goals of customers/stakeholders.
