Our role:
The position of Business Consultant is to provide business consulting for Objective solutions, across Objective’s products, and is responsible for all business aspects of Objective implementations, upgrades and ongoing support. Key activities include workshops, business analysis, prototyping, solution configuration, training, and end user support.
This position reports to the Regional Services Director.
\n- Workshop Facilitation – Responsible for the facilitation of requirements workshops with customers, using standard methodology templates to obtain specific project outcomes.
- Requirements Analysis – Responsible for analyzing customer business processes as a precursor to solutions design. Ensure alignment of business processes to associated policies and identify areas of (mis)alignment to the Objective product suite. Identify changes to project scope arising from the analysis and bring these to the attention of the Objective Project Manager.
- Solution Design - In conjunction with Technical Consultant/s you will be responsible for architecting a design solution which satisfies the customer's documented requirements.
- Solution Configuration – Responsible for configuring the Objective product suite to conform to the documented solution design as well as making evolutionary improvements to the solution through prototyping the solution with the customer.
- Functional and UAT Testing – Responsible for the preparation of test cases and detailed scripts to support customer functional and user acceptance testing.
- End-User Training - Conduct end-user training on core Objective solutions.
- Advanced Training - Train customers in advanced aspects of Objective product use and product administration.
- Global Practice Contribution – Ensure continuous improvement in the "way we work at Objective" through contribution to our best practice and Business Consultant forums.
- Customer Satisfaction – Responsible for managing the personal relationship with the customer to ensure long-term relationships are enabled. You will also be required to execute assigned tasks within the methodology framework, on time and to satisfactory quality.
- High degree of knowledge in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Advanced MS Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models.
- Experience in UML or similar process modelling.
- Able to deliver end-user and application administration training.
- Significant participation in functional, integration, or UAT testing.
- Data Migration experience is preferred.
- Need to have a baseline Clearance or at least be prepared to get one.
