Our role:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting our project managers in organizing and running our ongoing software delivery projects, project managing smaller projects, providing management reporting to the Consulting Services leadership team, managing our project financial and reporting application (OpenAir), and ensuring we document and adhere to project delivery best practice.
The Project Coordinator reports to Services Director – Centre of Excellence. It does not have people management responsibilities.
\n- Assisting the project managers to develop, maintain and monitor statements of work and project management plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in external stakeholder and internal project meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Monitoring project deadlines to ensure the project stays on track.
- Assisting with documenting project change requests.
- Managing smaller projects.
- Undertaking system administration on our project financial and reporting application (OpenAir).
- Designing and providing management reporting for our Consulting Services Leadership team, on project and team performance (project profitability, team utilization etc).
- Providing administrative support to project managers as needed.
- Ensuring projects adhere to Objective frameworks and standards and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and suggest solutions where applicable.
- Developing and improving continuous feedback processes.
- Recent experience as a project coordinator
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of software implementation projects (vendor side)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong analytical skills
