This job requires a public safety background check to include criminal histories and fingerprinting.

Position Description :
As a Web Applications Developer, you will take on the responsibility of contributing to the design,
implementation, and support of applications used by the Gwinnett County Public Safety community.
You will work on complex projects and begin to take ownership of specific features or modules,
collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and enhance features and functionality within ongoing and new development projects using Python, Flask, JavaScript, and other modern technologies.
- Actively participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers, helping maintain high coding standards.
- Engage in gathering and analyzing user feedback to improve applications continuously.
- Contribute to the execution of test plans, debugging, and issue resolution to maintain software quality.
- Document development processes and adhere to team coding standards and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation and updating of technical and user documentation.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver software solutions tailored to their needs.
- Ensure that all development work aligns with security and compliance standards relevant to Public Safety.
- Assist in deploying web applications to Windows servers, including configuring IIS and setting up services.
