Job Title / Role : Epic Sr. IT Project Manager-Product Consultant, LabJob Location : Houston, TX 77030Contract Duration : 7 MonthsJob DescriptionIndividual must be able to serve as an application expert providing best practice advice for the lab user community and installation structure.SUMMARY SCOPEImpacts institution's business-specific technology initiatives.SUMMARY FUNCTION : Manages all aspects of highly complex medium- to large-scale strategic IT projects that span three or more organizational boundaries. Provides product expertise and leadership with application design, build management, operational workflows including business and support impact.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Plans, executes, manages and completes medium to large IT projects that address the operational needs of multiple departments within budget and with quality results.Develops and manages resources and ensures appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement for the life of the project.Translates customer business objectives into tactical plans and strategy and ensures approval through appropriate information systems governance structure.Identifies key stakeholders, assembles and manages one or more cross-functional project teams, maintains budget and quality standards, and manages deliverables.Ensures documentation is maintained as the project is changed or refined over time and communicates project status to end-users.Ensures all internal and external standards and regulatory requirements are met.Provides feedback to team and / or individuals on performance.Provides analytical, conceptual and research design support for project teams to demonstrate the business outcomes of the programs.Conducts strategic planning processes.Conducts statistical and qualitative analysis to provide summaries and reports for making recommendations based on the findings.Identifies opportunities to improve work processes, output and overall performance improvement.EDUCATION REQUIRED : Bachelor's Degree.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Six years of experience to include five years in project management and five years in application and / or infrastructure services.LICENSURE REQUIRED : Epic Beaker certifiedOTHER REQUIRED : Application and project management expertise with Epic BeakerPreferred : Experience with the Epic Anatomic Pathology modules#J-18808-Ljbffr
