What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at OBP Medical?
Marketing interns are expected to apply their academic knowledge to real-world marketing situations. Interns will be treated as teammates within the marketing organization and their contributions will be integrated into product and communication plans. Interns can expect to be included in departmental, corporate, and vendor meetings, with their participation will be welcome. Interns will also be expected to participate in corporate-wide intern events and activities.
- Provides a wide range of support to the marketing team, inclusive of product marketing and marketing communications.
- Collect and organize data/metrics on marketing programs from the numerous data sources we employ.
- Develop an understanding of basic product and market knowledge to support brand management team.
- Participates in the development of creative briefs and project outlines and then interacts with creative services agencies through the creative development process
- Be prepared to perform project-based work as assigned
- Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
- Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
- Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set
- Career aspirations in brand management and/or marketing communications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor
- Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.
- Current college student, majoring in Marketing or related specialty, entering their Junior or Senior year.
