Toyota of Portland - Parts Back Counter
Toyota of Portland, a dealership part of the O'Brien Auto Group, is currently looking for a Parts Back Counterperson. We are searching for an individual who is hardworking, friendly and enjoy interacting with people.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
This position pays commission on a monthly basis - 1.8% of Toyota of Portland's "Total Parts & Access." monthly gross profit. All employees subject to eligibility requirements, we offer the following benefits:

As a Parts Counterperson, you will be directly responsible, but not limited to:
- Look-up and hand-out parts and accessories for technicians and customers
- Create invoices and collect payment
- Provide information, pricing, and availability of parts for service department and customers.
- Successfully Interact with parts team, technicians, service advisors, retail and wholesale customers.
- Order parts, accessories, and tires from manufacturer and suppliers
- Prepare, package, and ship parts and accessories using common carriers
- Receipt parts into inventory and maintain inventory in proper bin locations
- ensuring the quality and promptness of all parts requests
- Stock incoming inventory to the proper bin location
- Maintain parts department in clean and orderly manner.
Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: Phone, computer, adding machine, copier, calculator, stapler, fax machine, pencils/pens, letter opener, scissors, rulers, measuring tools, pallet jack, barcode scanner, and hand tools.
Chemicals: Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a limited basis. Employees will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will always follow all safety directives.
Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; lifting of 20lbs or less on a frequent basis and carrying of 10lbs or less on a frequent basis; frequent pushing and pulling, twisting, and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects; occasional climbing, balancing and crawling.
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
