TOK - Parts Counter
Toyota of Kirkland, a dealership in the O'Brien Auto Group, is currently hiring for a Full-Time Parts Counterperson. Seeking an experienced parts counterperson to sell parts at our busy Bellevue location. We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with attention to detail, that can assist retail customers, wholesale shops, and technicians in our service department with parts and information.
This position will be a commission-based position that is driven off team success along with the growth of the store.
This position is based off the Department Financial results of 2.7% of Toyota of Kirkland's current statement month's Total Parts. Subject to eligibility requirements, we offer the following benefits:

Job Summary:
The Parts Counterperson will be directly responsible for involvement with the parts manager on all parts issues and making sure that all technicians receive correct parts the first time.
Responsibilities to include:
- Back counter parts.
- Front counter part sales.
- Call on all special-order parts for prompt installation or pick up.
- Pre-pull all service for technician.
- Inventory control.
- Process all damage claims.
- Process all warranty exchanges.
- Removal of all paid warranty parts.
- Removal of all damage parts.
- Over see technician for proper tags on warranty parts.
- Answer all incoming calls.
- Regular checks on special order bins for old age parts.
- Input daily orders.
- Promote internal sales.
- Assist in obsolesces return (5%).
- Track lost sales
- Department clean up.
- Perform all duties assign by manager.
- Regular attendance is essential.
- Work in cooperative, positive & professional manner with all personnel in the company.
- Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. Maintain professional demeanor while at work.
- Must conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment.
Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: Phone, computer, adding machine, copier, calculator, stapler, fax machine, pencils/pens, letter opener, scissors, rulers, measuring tools, pallet jack, barcode scanner, and hand tools.
Chemicals: Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a limited basis. Employees will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will always follow all safety directives.
Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; lifting of 20lbs or less on a frequent basis and carrying of 10lbs or less on a frequent basis; frequent pushing and pulling, twisting, and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects; occasional climbing, balancing and crawling
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
