Senior Security Engineer
The Security Engineer role provides a unique opportunity to work across engineering, data science, and security research functions of our growing business. You will be part of a highly visible, agile team working on critical areas that directly affect the company's success.
The role :
Obsidian is seeking a detail-oriented Security Engineer to build out high quality data products. The ideal candidate will :
- Have a blend of data analysis and engineering acumen
- Bring a high level of curiosity to wildly heterogeneous, semi-structured data
- Rapidly learn and apply cybersecurity concepts

This is a hybrid position at Obsidian's Newport Beach, CA office.
Pay Transparancy
Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for equity awards and may be eligible for incentive compensation based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
