Obsidian Solutions group is seeking a Computer Hardware Test Engineer to join the team!

We are looking for a Computer Hardware Test Engineer with demonstrated experience in leading hardware engineering for training systems, overseeing specifications, installation, troubleshooting, equipment management, and team mentorship. Will be responsible for the Computer Engineering and Hardware integration activities supporting highly complex Training Systems. Working with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals with leading-edge technologies.

Specific Responsibilities

• Support the computer hardware engineering effort for training systems.
• Review and produce detailed specifications for proposed hardware solutions.
• Lead team for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer or computer-related equipment.
• Develop, track, and manage all equipment and deliverables (Drawings, manuals, reports, labeling, inventory).
• Interact with internal and external personnel to ensure product delivery.
• Provide mentorship and training.

• Active Secret Clearance
• BS/BA degree and 8 years experience
• MS Windows experience
• Experience installing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining computer equipment, peripherals, audio visual equipment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Normal office environment.
