PKI Administrator
Job Location: Springfield, VA
Clearance level: TS/SCI Required
Job Type: Full-time
Description:
The PKI Administrator will provide superior customer service to the Government Customer and will provide support to customer certificate issues and PKI system related issues.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the agency’s efforts to manage and monitor Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Programs
- Provide in-depth knowledge of asymmetric and symmetric encryption key technologies and their application to support a public key infrastructure (PKI)
- This support includes the following activities:
- Serve as a PKI Registration Authority
- Conduct face-to-face user validation
- Support development, maintenance, and management of policies
- Maintain awareness of and competency with new and developing protocols, specifications, techniques, and standards
- Coordinate and resolve Information Assurance related trouble tickets in connection with PKI
- Create installation and training documentation
- Provide training to new and current employees
- Engage in supervisory responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant experience OR
• Associate degree and 3 years relevant experience OR
• HS diploma and 4 years relevant experience
• DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level I: (within 6 months of hire)
• TS/SCI clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance
• Ability to work Shift hours. Shift will be identified upon hire
• Ability to work nights / weekends / holidays as required
• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
