Job Summary:
The Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) Administration and Program Management Support Services (APMSS) program provides administrative, analytical, and technical expertise to support OBP’s mission of mitigating Improvised Explosive Device (IED) threats and enhancing national security. Through this program, personnel contribute to operational efficiency, knowledge sharing, and strategic alignment to achieve OBP’s critical objectives.
The Project Manager oversees all work performed under the Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and compliance with client requirements. This senior-level role is the primary liaison between the contractor and the government, managing staffing, workflows, and deliverables to achieve contract objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day contract operations, including multi-location personnel and task management.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure the quality of deliverables through planning, review, and oversight.
- Manage staffing, project financials, and task scheduling to meet performance standards.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the COR, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.
- Oversee event logistics and ensure the successful execution of workshops, meetings, and briefings.
Qualifications:
10 years of experience in project management with expertise in infrastructure protection, administration services, and counter-IED programs.
Supervisory experience leading teams of 10 and liaising between contract and government staff.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
Experience with Executive Secretariat Teams.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Normal office environment.
Hours of Operation:
Generally perform all work between the hours of 0800 and 1700 EST, Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays). However, there may be occasions when the employee shall be required to work other than normal business hours, including weekends and holidays, to fulfill requirements under this contract.
Travel Requirements:
Travel to 1110 North Glebe Road, Alexandria, VA 22201 or travel to Huntsville Alabama, USA, may be required to support this requirement.
