Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions.
Duties
- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric/gynecological (Ob/Gyn) scans.
- Utilize sonography equipment to capture high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess images and communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination process.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures performed and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology or sonography is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with Ob/Gyn ultrasound practices is required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patient care skills with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience in utilizing ultrasound equipment and performing various imaging techniques is highly desirable.

Pay: $39.53 - $42.87 per hour
