Client Account Manager (Sydney)

The role
We are looking for a Client Account Manager who is a motivated self-starter who is keen to embody and exemplify our OBT vision and culture. You'll bring personality to the role as well as the skills and abilities to drive revenue and deliver results. You are a high-energy team player with impeccable communication skills who takes initiative and can work independently while managing multiple accounts in a growing global organisation.
You are a problem-solver, you'll thrive in a multi-demanding environment and your customer centric approach will lead you to always strive to satisfy the specific needs of your clients. With your exceptional people skills and communication ability, you will be able to manage existing client accounts while up-selling at all opportunities and increasing revenue through pro-active sales and procurement activities.
You will respond to customer requests, recommend services and solutions to grow revenue and ensure our customers are satisfied. You will also focus on ‘new customer accounts’ which will come from existing customer referrals and OBT’s own marketing initiatives.
In order to succeed in this role, you will have:
- Sales/Marketing mid-level qualifications or applicable experience;
- Strong product knowledge about IaaS, SaaS, DaaS & UCaaS services;
- Project management experience and ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Creative flair with an ability to communicate and motivate via written and visual media
- Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management;
- Exceptional relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust and confidence with clients, suppliers, management and peers;
- Adaptability and be detail oriented;
- Willingness to work flexible hours in order to accommodate different time zones as required;
- Lateral thinking, lots of initiative and a willingness to be stretched and challenged along the way.
We would love it if you also had:
- Demonstrated success performing in an SI firm and/or Managed IT Service Providers
- Previous experience and knowledge of the IT industry is desirable;
