Direct Support Staff - Irvine - $24/hour

We are looking for Direct Support Staff for a young male adult with developmental/intellectual disability. He recently moved and is learning to live independently. Requires assistance with his adls such as meal prep, creating/ following daily routine, outings in the community.

Available shifts:

Saturdays 8am-4pm

Direct Support Staff - Laguna Woods- $24/hour

We are looking for a Direct Support Staff for an elderly woman that resides in Laguna Woods with her husband. She has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. This client is outgoing, fun, very smart and a sociable person. Requires assistance with meal prep, personal care, hygiene, dressing, and companionship.

Available shifts:

• Fridays 4:30-9:30pm
• Saturdays 8:30am-4pm & 4:30-9:30pm
• Sundays 4:30-9:30pm

Direct Support Staff- Mission Viejo- $22/hour

We are looking for Direct Support Staff for a young adult with developmental/intellectual disability. Living with his brother. Looking for assistance, with ADLS, meal prep, budgeting, staying on task with their daily routine, in addition to companionship.

Available shifts:

• Saturday: 9am-5pm
• Sunday: 9am-5pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Direct Support Staff

Some of the essential functions can include, but are not limited to the following:

Assisting with individual personal care, such as toileting, and brushing

Assisting with common daily living activities such as meal preparation, including planning, shopping, light cooking activities

Assisting with performing routine household activities aimed at maintaining a clean and safe home

Becoming aware of and effectively using the transportation, police, fire, and emergency help available in the community to the general public;

Assisting with building and maintaining interpersonal relationships, including a Circle of Support;

Assisting with participating in community life

Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in the Individual Service Plan

Ability to effectively communicate with consumers and other team members

Assists in the implementation of Individual Service Plans

Work all the assigned schedules, including but not limited to; arriving and departing on time, requesting time off in advance, and notifying supervisor of changes in your assigned work schedule

Attend regular contact meeting with direct supervisor

Report any and all incidents, behaviors and occurrences immediately to the supervisor including incidents of possible abuse or neglect

Ensures each individual’s rights are protected

Treats each person served with dignity and respect

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Work Location: In person
