We are a small boutique-style pediatric practice and we pride ourselves on giving high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking an outstanding certified medical assistant to work 20-40 hours per week (hours are negotiable). We offer a team-focused and collaborative office environment, competitive salary, training, and hours are somewhat flexible.
ABILITY to work a half day on some Saturdays from 9am-12pm is a PLUS.
MUST be able to work at our Irvine and Ladera Ranch locations.

Duties:
- Greet patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Answer phones, make appointments, confirm appointments, and verify insurances.
- Check-in patients, collect accurate patient demographics, and enter data into an electronic system.
- Assist in checking out patients and assist them with referral processing.
- Collect co-pays and post charges.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and vaccines; request re-orders as necessary.
- Room patients, take vitals, and administer injections/immunizations.
- Extract and send medical records to other healthcare offices and patient families.
Hourly salary commensurate with experience.
