Position Title: Office Coordinator
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour
Position Purpose:
In the Commercial & Concessions Department the office coordinator performs a variety of clerical and office duties in support of a department or function within the organization.

Essential Functions:
- Answers, responds to, or forwards telephone calls.
- Assists walk-in traffic to the office, including department employees, other organizational employees, business partners, guests and/or patrons.
- Dispatches other department employees in response to inquiries and requests from other departments or the public.
- Ability to maintain composure in a stressful situation.
- Maintains a variety of department records and files.
- Performs computer data input and generates reports as requested.
- Tracks attendance of department employees and serves as the department timekeeper.
- Assists with vendor check-in pre-fair.
- Assists with making coffee, hot water and maintaining supplies in the Vendor Courtesy Booth during the Fair.
- Assists with vendor mail distribution.
- Assists with Fair move-out after the Fair.
- Files and shreds documents as requested.
- May schedule meetings and coordinate the department calendar.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Schedule flexibility.
- Good computer skills and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel necessary.
- Must be able to type at least 35 words per minute.
- Previous experience with filing and shredding required.
- Ability to successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks required.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with others a must
- Excellent teamwork skills required.
- Ability to work outside the normal; business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
Preferences:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be helpful.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, however louder noise levels may be experienced during outdoor events and when in larger event buildings.
